The Brigu Lake trek, located near Manali in Himachal Pradesh, is a stunning adventure that takes you through lush forests, picturesque meadows, and breathtaking mountain views. Spanning approximately 22 kilometers over three days, the trek leads you to the mesmerizing glacial Brigu Lake, situated at an altitude of about 4,235 meters (13,900 feet). Known for its striking blue waters and serene surroundings, the lake provides a perfect backdrop for relaxation and photography. With a moderate difficulty level, the trek is ideal for nature enthusiasts and offers a chance to experience the rich flora and fauna of the region.

Itinerary

Day 01: Departure from Ahmedabad

Board your morning train from Ahmedabad Railway station to Delhi. Dinner will be served in the train. Night will be in the train.

 

Day 02: Delhi – Manali

Reach Delhi in the morning and get transferred to Manali. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served en-route. Night will be in Bus.

Day 03: Manali

Expected to reach Manali early in the morning. On arrival check-in to Camps and rest for a while. Later post lunch head out for local sightseeing. Visit mall road, Hadimba Devi Temple etc. and back to the camp. Enjoy evening at leisure followed by dinner. Night will be in Manali.

Day 04: Jonker Thatch

Depart for Gulaba, from Manali. Arrive and start your trek to Jonker Thatch. The total trek time taken to reach here is 1.2 hours of driving and 1 hour and 30 minutes of trekking. Throughout the hike explore the mesmerizing Himachal Pradesh mountains. Arrive at Jonker Thatch and establish your camp. After Lunch acclimatization walk. Night will be at the campsite.

Day 05: Rola Kholi

Early morning after breakfast, depart for Rola Kholi, on the trail, the woods will be drained, revealing rolling green meadows. The shepherds’ area is where cattle grazers are gathered from villages in the summer. You can find some mud huts and camp poles dotted around. Leaving the meadow in place, you move towards the south, and the summit in the form of Hanuman Tibba is rising in sharp focus right now, and a bit below it, you will see the Seven Sisters Peaks. Below, you will find the green area in the Beas Kund Valley. Arrive at Rola Kholi and establish your camp. Night will be at the campsite.

Day 06: Bhrigu Lake

Early morning after breakfast, depart for Bhrigu Lake, as you climb the ridge, you’ll see an oval-shaped glacial lake on your left. Depending on the time of year, the lake can be completely covered by snow or surrounded by grass and alpine plants. If you’re fortunate enough to have a clear day, you’ll be treated to an excellent panoramic view of Pir Pinjal and the Dhauladhar mountain ranges. You’ll also be able to see majestic peaks like Indrasen, Deo Tibba, and Hanuman Tibba. After spending time at the lake, return back to Rola Kholi. Night will be at campsite

Day 07: Gulaba

Trek to Gulaba, arrive and get transferred to Manali. Later in the evening get transferred to Delhi. Night will be in Bus.

Day 08: Delhi

Expected to reach Delhi in the morning. On arrival get transferred to Delhi railway to board your train back to Ahmedabad. Night will be in train.transferred to Delhi  railway station to board your  train to Delhi. Lunch will be served en-route. Night will be in train.

Day 09: Return Back to Ahmedabad

We will reach Ahmedabad in the morning and the trip ends with fond memories to cherish for years to come.

Note:- AC will not be functional in the hills.
