“Jobs fill your stomach but Adventures fill your soul”

One thing that I love about travelling is that I feel disoriented and removed from my comfort zone.

Such a trip was this first of its kind the Abu trip. Mt. Abu yes always heard and explored as a weekend tour, but first time could feel the essence of life being so natural. So, the journey began with girls pouring in entries and asking for what, how, how about etc…. All were worried about the pandemic situation and how would it be possible for everyone to take the risk to move out in this pandemic and go for trekking.

Females were all geared up to take this risk and move out in the nature s lap and get the essence of real trekking. Entries flowed in from all age groups right from 16 to 60. Thrill was within all and enthusiasm to know who all were coming aboard. The journey started with people biding each other farewell at the pickup stop. All sorts of thoughts rolling our minds about the basic necessities and needs along with the weather all were a matter of concern. We started with an introduction round by Meghna and all slowly started knowing each other.

The morning silence sank in and we started to hear the waves of laughter and fun sounds around. The females started to gel up with each other. Similarities started popping up and we enjoyed the journey until the bus stopped amidst nature and we were asked to deboard the bus and we hear our Coach greet us and on slightly slanted slope he asked us to follow the idol man coach Mr. Kalpesh Patel“Follow me”.

All of us looked upto him and he instructed us to Climb up the slopy mountain as the journey had begun. This gave us all a shiver and we had all sorts of thoughts running in our minds. As soon as we reached the camp site drenched out in thirst we straight hoped in for lunch.

The thrill fever was on and we started with the activities and everyone had to do it. Night trekking was awesome we had gathered at the gates and started the most terrific trekking to walk up the hill through the jungle followed by the darkness around. The moonlight was our god father who guided us through, and we could feel the hard-hearted breeze, as it tried to put in all efforts to make it hard for us. It was a different feel to follow the footsteps of the person in front of you a tough one though.

Finally, we were on top on the tower with something probably we call is heaven and yes that moment was inevitable no cameras could captivate that moment. We saw the universe above us all clear as if we had a blue blanket with some sparkling jewels. We laid there for sometime to experience this aesthetics view. Then we got back, had bon fire with a few moves and went back to our tents to rest.

Next day we started with the whistle from our coach as we had a long day with rock climbing, rappelling, we headed to Abu and there we saw a huge igneous rock mountain which we were supposed to climb using our hind limbs. That was an awestruck moment when we started it. Then we rushed back to finish our lipsmacking lunch which was the best food we could ever have.

After that we left for a world wide experience of being a mountaineer. So the next destination was The Golden Horn. We started the most adventurous part of the journey by caving and it was most mesmerizing part of the journey when we all climbed up the mountain and to the top of the mountain where we experienced the sunset with the golden horn and it felt like an exceptional experience of life.

Bidding Adieu to Abu was like with heavy hearts we really are thankful to Positive 7 for the trip and all the efforts put by them. It gathered people from different corners of the city and looking forward for such fruitful trips again.
